The Journey behind VOOR

It all started with a simple question: "Why isn't this available?"

As a coach, Ronny often struggled with measuring and tracking player development effectively. He realized there was a lack of reliable data and statistics to assess players consistently. So, he began developing his own small software solution to solve this problem.

In 2018, Ronny’s former sports director, Lennart Claussen, asked him if he could create a player database. After showing Lennart his initial tool, they realized the need for a comprehensive coach software. With the support of Ronny's co-founder, Alex, and over 20 years of friendship, they quickly built on the idea, and VOOR Sport (originally proSports.Zone) was born.

Founded in 2019, VOOR Sport officially launched in 2020, with the vision of providing a powerful, all-in-one platform for team sports to help coaches and players perform at their best.
