proSports.Zone officially launches

After more than a year of planning and developing the innovative sports platform proSports.zone, the portal has now been officially launched at prosports.zone.

SportsZone GmbH, which was founded for this purpose on August 29, 2019, is responsible for operation and marketing.

Ronny Wangelin and Alexander Hupe were appointed as managing partners from among the shareholders. They will be responsible for support and further development in the future.

The aim of the company is the digital and data protection-compliant provision of player, match and performance data and their evaluation and analysis. With the help of this software, coaches, managers and clubs can enable better and more effective training and development of their players, make even more informed scouting decisions and use existing resources more efficiently.

ABOUT PROSPORTS.ZONE

The team behind proSports.Zone consists of long-standing soccer coaches who have gained experience in the upper and middle performance levels and at professional soccer clubs and are still active as coaches and scouts.

The main initiator, Ronny Wangelin, works as a programmer and is also active as a soccer coach. In order to be able to manage his coaching activities efficiently and in compliance with data protection regulations, he embarked on a (ultimately unsuccessful) search for a comprehensive software solution. So he had to program it himself. The result of this idea was a large management tool for clubs from the performance class upwards, with a player and coach database, team and schedule management, a video platform and a scouting module that offers everything that professional soccer clubs need today.

The web-based solution now provides soccer clubs and associations with an innovative, holistic and forward-looking platform that focuses on players and their performance development. With proSports.Zone, slips of paper, Excel lists and isolated solutions will be a thing of the past.

All relevant data and statistics for players and teams are now immediately accessible via smartphone, tablet or laptop.

proSports.Zone reduces the workload for coaches and clubs. All relevant data is centrally available to authorized coaches. Information and statistics can therefore be used in full to assess performance.
